Enjoy the pics to follow!
Syd makes a face of disappointment as she falls off the wall. The intended goal of this game was to tape your teammate to the wall and the person who held the longest won! To my knowledge-no one stuck....no winners but allot of fun!Tanner's team looked like they did a good tape job but it wasn't enough to get the job done!
My personal favorite game (thanks Rich and Aimee for organizing these) was one where each team chose a member to be wrapped in tape with the "sticky" side out...then each member, after being carefully lowered to the floor, rolled around trying to pick up as many wads of crumpled paper off of the floor. This was hilarious as everyone rolled around. Joseph "steamroller" Freeman rolled over anything in his way, including other participants! Shannon rolled around gracefully but intentionally. Samara was having technical difficulties...mainly centered around the fact that she was wrapped so tight she could hardly breathe! And Andrew rolled around but also used the flopping technique to pounce on pieces of paper. This was really a sight to see! The pictures don't do it justice!
Below are some of the crafts we made:
Duct tape Flip-flopsDuct tape cellpone covers Duct tape picture frames and bookmarks
And finally...THE COSTUMES:
Elijah made his out of globs of tape that were on the floor...resourceful
Do you dig my jacket? I had a matching purse!
Alyy's entire outfit was duct tape including her earrings...well, her jean skirt was only partially. What creativity!
I think Daniel Brawley made this amazing shirt, drumsticks, gloves, etc.
And the WINNERS ARE...... Alyy and Daniel
Check them out!!
When I asked Daniel to "smile like a winner" he said " If I smile, it won't work with the outfit"
Youth.....priceless!! No doubt, it wouldn't Daniel!
At least I got a grin out of him when he modeled the prize (t-shirt) that he won!!
Fun...had by all!
